EuroTaxis Haywards Heath Terms of Service

Welcome to EuroTaxis Haywards Heath. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our taxi services. By booking a taxi with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

We provide 24/7 taxi services for instant bookings, pre-arranged journeys, airport transfers, executive cars, and event transport within Mid Sussex and beyond. Our fleet includes premium vehicles ranging from 4 to 8 seats.

2. Booking and Quotes

Booking: All bookings can be made online or by phone. To complete a booking, you must provide your name, a valid UK phone number, pickup/drop-off addresses, and details about your party and luggage.

Pricing: The cost of your journey will be provided by the designated driver before the journey begins and may be based on a fixed price or a metered fare. The driver will inform you of the pricing method in advance. Please note that vehicles with 6 or more seats are charged at fare and a half.

3. Vehicle and Luggage Capacity

You are responsible for booking a vehicle of the appropriate size for your party and luggage.

4-Seat Cars: Can accommodate up to 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-on suitcases.

6-Seat Cars: Can accommodate up to 4 large suitcases and 4 carry-on suitcases. Unfoldable wheelchairs are permitted, but only one per taxi.

8-Seat Cars: Can accommodate up to 5 large suitcases and 5 carry-on suitcases. Unfoldable wheelchairs are permitted, but only one per taxi.

For your comfort, we recommend a larger vehicle if you are travelling with luggage that meets the maximum capacity of a smaller car. The driver reserves the right to refuse a booking if they deem the luggage to be excessive and would make the vehicle unsafe.

4. Pets and Special Requirements

Guide Dogs: All guide dogs are permitted.

Other Pets: Other pets are allowed at the driver's discretion. Please inform us at the time of booking if you plan to travel with a pet.

Wheelchairs: Unfoldable wheelchairs are only permitted on 6-seat or larger vehicles.

5. Driver and Passenger Conduct

You are responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in your party. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a booking if a passenger poses a risk to the driver or vehicle. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Our drivers are Mid Sussex licensed and fully vetted with comprehensive background checks. We are committed to ensuring a safe and professional service for all passengers.

For the safety of all, please be aware that CCTV is in operation in all our cabs.

6. Damage and Cleaning Charges

You are responsible for any damage you or your party causes to the interior or exterior of the vehicle.

A cleaning fee may be applied to your account for any messes, including but not limited to spills or sickness, that require professional cleaning. The minimum charge for such incidents is £100.

7. Limitation of Liability

We use all reasonable efforts to ensure your journey is completed on time, but we are not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as road or traffic conditions.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property or luggage while in the vehicle.

8. Changes and Feedback

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Can you assist with travel arrangements for groups?

Yes, we can assist with travel arrangements for groups. We can book multiple cars at once and we also have vehicles that can accommodate up to 8 passengers.

Are there any safety measures in place during travel?

Based on the information required to be granted a licence by the Mid Sussex District Council, we have several safety measures in place to ensure your well-being.

All our drivers are fully licensed by Mid-Sussex County Council:

Fully vetted with a comprehensive background check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Blue Lamp Trust approved, having passed a specialized driving assessment for taxi and private hire drivers.

Disability and safeguarding trained to provide a safe and professional service to all passengers.

Required to maintain a valid, full driver's license.

In addition, all our vehicles are:

Fully insured.

Subject to regular safety checks to ensure they are safe and approved for travel.
